The Treehouse Trio's Big Year

Lily, Brooke, and Annie were the best of friends, and their favorite place was their amazing treehouse in the middle of the park. It was their secret hideaway, their adventure base, and where they dreamed big dreams. This year, they were all starting a new chapter – they were moving on to the biggest school in their town! Lily, with her bright ideas, was always planning exciting games. Brooke, with her kind heart, was the glue that held them together. And Annie, with her love for drawing, captured all their adventures in her sketchbook.

One sunny afternoon, as they sat in their treehouse, nibbling on crackers and cheese, Lily shared her big worry. "I'm scared we won't see each other as much when we go to different classes at the big school," she said, looking a little glum. Brooke nodded, her usually cheerful face a bit worried. "Me too! What if we don't have time for treehouse adventures anymore?" Annie started sketching them all, capturing their worried expressions on paper.

The trio spent the rest of the day talking about their fears and making promises. They decided that no matter how busy they got at school, they would always make time for their treehouse, maybe once a week for a special gathering. They made a secret pledge, whispering it to the wind: "Best friends forever, treehouse forever!"

As the year went on, the girls found that the big school wasn't as scary as they thought. Lily joined the science club and invented a robot that could clean up their treehouse. Brooke joined the kindness club and made new friends everywhere she went. Annie joined the art club and created a beautiful mural for the school. Even though they were busy, they always stuck to their promise. Every Friday afternoon, they would climb into their treehouse, share their stories, and draw plans for new and exciting games.

One day, they realized that they didn’t have as much time anymore for games as their school works were stacking up. They were getting busy with assignments and extracurricular. They talked about what that meant for their trio and their time in the treehouse. They agreed to meet once a month. And even if they didn't see each other as much, the bonds they built at the treehouse would always be special and their trio would always be there for each other. Lily, Brooke, and Annie learned that friendships could grow and change, just like the big tree holding their treehouse, but that their special bond would always remain strong, and that even when they aren’t together, they always know each other is there. They knew that even after the big school was over, they would always have their treehouse and their friendship.
