The Starry Night Sky
Once upon a time, in a land filled with sparkling stars, lived a brave and kind knight named Orion. He was known throughout the kingdom for his gentle heart and amazing ability to map the constellations. Orion had a beautiful new friend, Lyra, who loved to sing songs about the night sky. Orion adored Lyra's songs and cherished their time together.
Now, in this star-filled kingdom, there was a grumpy old gnome named Flicker. Flicker always grumbled and was jealous of how happy everyone was. He wanted to cause trouble. Flicker noticed how much Orion cared for Lyra and decided to play a trick. He started whispering silly rumors to Orion, like, 'Lyra spends her time with other star gazers! She must like them more than you!'
Orion, who was very trusting, started to believe Flicker's silly tales. He grew sad and confused, thinking that Lyra didn't care about their friendship. This made him act grumpy towards Lyra. Lyra was confused because she always enjoyed making music with Orion and had not spent time with other stargazers. She missed their happy moments!
One night, as Orion was looking at the stars with a heavy heart, a wise old owl, Celeste, flew down. She asked, 'Why are you so sad, Orion?' Orion told her all the silly rumors that Flicker whispered to him. Celeste listened carefully and then said, 'Those are just silly lies! Why would Lyra stop being your friend when you both share the love of stars?'
Orion realized Celeste was right! He quickly went to Lyra and apologized for being grumpy and believing the lies. Lyra hugged him tight and they promised to always trust each other. They went back to mapping the stars and singing their songs together, happier than ever! As for Flicker, he was not a bother any more. He was sent to a mushroom patch where he spent time grumbling to himself. From that day on, everyone in the kingdom remembered the importance of trust and knowing that mean people sometimes cause trouble by saying untrue things.
