The Silly Sock Puppet Show
Once upon a time, in a cozy little puppet theater, there was a group of sock puppets getting ready for their big show. There was Barnaby the Bear, who loved to juggle; Penelope the Penguin, who could tap dance; and Finley the Fox, who was a master of silly jokes. One night, a new sock puppet arrived, a grumpy old badger named Bartholomew, who had just come from a long nap and wasn’t too happy about the noise. Bartholomew was determined to ruin the show. He started by hiding Barnaby’s juggling balls, tying Penelope’s tap shoes together, and putting a whoopie cushion on Finley's chair. The other puppets were upset, but instead of getting angry they decided to try to be friends with Bartholomew. They invited him to join their practice and taught him a silly song and dance. At first, Bartholomew refused, grumbling about how silly it all was. But soon, even he started to giggle and found himself tapping his foot along to the music. When the time for the big show came, the sock puppets discovered that they couldn't find the stage lights. They suddenly remembered that Bartholomew had a flashlight and asked for his help. He shined it brightly and they all cheered for him as they performed their show. From that day on, Bartholomew wasn’t grumpy anymore. He loved being part of the sock puppet show, and they all learned that even the grumpiest characters can become good friends with a little bit of kindness.
