The Mystery of the Missing Cookies
Barnaby Buttercup was a super-sleuth, but not the kind with a magnifying glass and trench coat. Barnaby was a fluffy bunny with a nose for trouble, especially when it involved his favorite – delicious, rainbow-sprinkled cookies. One sunny morning, Barnaby's best friend, a forgetful squirrel named Squeaky, came to him with a puzzling problem. "Barnaby," Squeaky chattered, "I can't remember where I hid the cookies! I baked a whole batch and now they're gone!" Barnaby's ears perked up. This was a case for the fluffiest detective! They decided to retrace Squeaky's steps. They first went to the big oak tree where Squeaky had gathered acorns. No cookies. Then to the babbling brook where Squeaky sometimes fishes with a twig. Still no cookies. They even checked behind the giant mushroom where Squeaky took his afternoon naps. Nothing! Barnaby's nose twitched. He smelled something sweet, but not like cookies. It smelled like... berries! Following the sweet scent, they arrived at a hidden bramble patch. And there, they found a grumpy badger named Boris, surrounded by crumbs and a guilty look on his face. Boris had found the cookies and couldn’t resist their sweetness. He had forgotten his manners and had eaten most of them! Boris, ashamed, apologized to Squeaky and promised to bake another batch, this time, everyone would get to share! Barnaby, the super-sleuth bunny, had solved the mystery of the missing cookies, and more importantly, taught Boris the importance of sharing. And they all lived happily ever after, with plenty of cookies for everyone.
