The Magical Mango Farm

In the sunny hills of Australia, lived a kind farmer named Jack and his bright niece, Lily. They looked after a big mango farm, where the trees grew juicy and sweet. Jack loved to make up silly songs for the mangoes, and Lily always giggled at his funny dances. They worked hard to send mangoes to their cousin, Alex, who was a famous book writer far away in a big city. Alex was very important, or so they thought, writing all his great stories. One day, a fancy lady named Ms. Scarlet arrived at the farm. She was Alex's friend from the city and everyone gasped because she wore bright colours and a hat with a big feather. Ms. Scarlet was beautiful but seemed a bit sad. Lily liked to play games and found Ms. Scarlet didn't smile much. She tried to show Ms. Scarlet how much fun it was to chase butterflies in the mango fields, and to see who can eat the most mangoes. Ms Scarlet did chuckle sometimes. Then, Jack, who was always busy fixing fences, seemed to have forgotten to water the mangoes. They all started to get a bit droopy, just like Ms Scarlet. Lily started to worry that the mangoes would not grow, and that Alex will not have any mangoes for his city friends. But one evening, while she was watching the sunset, Lily saw Jack start to sing his funny songs again to the mango trees, and Lily saw him sprinkle magical dust on each tree. When they woke up the next day, the trees were bursting with mangoes and the farm was filled with joy, and Ms. Scarlet even did a little jig. Lily learned that happiness and love can make anything grow, just like the mangoes on their magical farm. They sent a huge box of mangoes to Alex. But even more importantly, they kept the joy growing back home and on their farm. And Ms. Scarlet finally learned to laugh out loud.
