Patty the Playdough's Big Concert
Patty the Playdough was a happy, bendy girl who lived in a colorful town called Rainbowville. Patty loved music and she was planning a big concert for all her friends. She had a bright yellow guitar and a voice like a bubbling stream. Everyone in Rainbowville, from the bouncy Ball Buddies to the stretchy String Sisters, were excited to hear Patty play.
But two grumpy Grumps, named Grumble and Groan, lived on the edge of town. They didn't like music or fun, and they certainly didn't like Patty. They thought everyone should be serious and still, like their stone garden. They hatched a silly plan. They would replace all the houses and shops in Rainbowville with boring, grey robot versions! That way, no one would be able to enjoy Patty's concert.
The day of the concert arrived, and Patty was ready to play. But when she stepped outside, she was shocked! Instead of the colorful, wiggly buildings, there were grey, stiff robot houses. The Ball Buddies were frozen still! The String Sisters were straight as sticks! Even the lollipop trees were replaced by metal poles with fake plastic lollipops!
Patty knew she had to do something. She wiggled her way over to the frozen Ball Buddies and began to play a silly, jiggly tune. The music made the Ball Buddies wiggle and bounce and roll again! Then she played a stretchy, stringy melody for the String Sisters, who untangled and stretched with delight. One by one, as Patty played her magical music, she helped the robot houses turn back into the original colorful, squishy homes.
Finally, Patty found Grumble and Groan hiding behind a big grey rock. She played a special song, a melody of joy and laughter. The music made Grumble and Groan’s hearts melt, and they started giggling. They admitted their mistake and helped Patty bring all the color back to Rainbowville. They even joined in the concert and danced with everyone else!
Patty's concert was a huge success, and everyone learned that even grumpy Grumps can find joy in friendship and music. And Patty, with her bendy body and happy music, proved that even the silliest ideas can bring the most wonderful results!
