Gigi's Great Garden Guess

Gigi the gnome was a happy gardener in the Whispering Woods. She loved her flowers and veggies, and she especially loved her best friend, Barnaby the Badger. Barnaby was always helping her tend the garden. Lately, Barnaby had been hinting that he'd like to plant some special sunflowers together, ones that would grow extra tall. Gigi liked the idea of tall sunflowers but also secretly enjoyed her sweet little pink roses.

Then, one sunny morning, old friend Frankie the Firefly buzzed into the garden! Frankie had been traveling the world and had a whole suitcase full of exciting new seeds – glittery berries, sparkling leaves, and even some singing beans! Gigi was amazed! Frankie wanted to plant all the sparkly things with her, right away! Gigi felt her heart tugged in two different directions. She loved planting with Barnaby, but those sparkly seeds were so tempting.

Barnaby brought a wheelbarrow full of soil, ready for the extra-tall sunflowers. But Frankie was eager to show Gigi the special spots in the garden where the glittery berries would shine the brightest. Gigi giggled, running from the sunflowers to the berries, not sure which to choose.

She suddenly had an idea! “Let’s plant everything!” she exclaimed. “Barnaby can plant his sunflowers along the fence and Frankie can plant his sparkles near the wishing well. We can all help each other and the garden will be twice as amazing!” Barnaby and Frankie loved this plan! They worked together, laughing and sharing stories all day. The garden was now filled with sunflowers reaching for the sky, sparkly berries twinkling in the sun, and lots and lots of friendship! Gigi learned that you can have more than one type of special plant, and more than one best friend, and that working together makes everything bloom even brighter.
